Sales Executive- Raleigh Area (Eastern Region)

The Sales Executive position is responsible for direct sales to electronics OEMs within TRNA's Eastern Region (specifically, New England north of Hartford).​ THis position is an individual contributor position and does not include management of other staff.​ This position will be based at the TUV Rheinland Youngsville, NC office.​

* Product Safety Testing & Certification (NRTL, CE Marking, etc)

* Telecommunications/ ​ Wireless Testing & Certification (FCC, RTTE, etc)
* Quality Management Systems Registration (ISO 9001/​14001, etc)
* Environmental Management/​ Green Services (WEEE/​RoHS/​REACH)
* Mechanical & Machinery Services



The Sales Executive posiiton requires 50%​ +​ travel within region, and domestic US travel may be required on occasion.​ Compensation will include a competative salary (based on experience) plus monthly commissions, and bonues as earned.​ Tota;l compensation package at 100%​ of quota target=​ $125k+​+​.​ In addition, TRNA provides comprehensive benefits package inlcuding 401(k).​

Postion Requirements

Position Requirements:


* Fundamental understanding of electronics/​technology industry
* Experience working with Tier 1/​Tier2 electronics OEMs is strongly desired
* Experience in the Semiconductor, Machinery, Pressure Equipment, and/​or Materials Refinery is mandatory.​
* Network of industry decision-making contacts is a major plus.​
* Ability to identify, approach, effectively communicate and close sales using a strategic, value-based message directed to decision makers is an absolute requirement.​
* Successful history of revenue/​quota accomplishment is required, and success in selling complex services of any type is a plus.​
* Knowledge of technical standards (e.​g.​, ISO, IEC, UL, EN, etc) is desired, but engineering background/​degree is not required.​
* 5-10 years minimum selling experience is desired, but will consider candidates with less experience based on successful recent history.​
* Must demonstrate senior-level sales skills including proposal writing, negotiation, effective closing and program management.​
