The successful candidate will be responsible for DBA/DBSA tasks on a 6 person Oracle Team which supports vendor implementations of Oracle databases, including FileNet, Service Desk, Control M, BenXL, PrimaVera, LMS Training Server, etc.

Most important Skills / Experience -
1. Extensive knowledge of Oracle and it's operating environment, including HP-UX (preferred), AIX, and/or Linux.
2. Proven problem resolution of Oracle DBMS with emphasis on Tuning - especially manual tuning proficiency
3. Proven history with tuning Oracle Databases
4. Experience with Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Automatic Storage Management (ASM)
5. Ability to work occasionally outside normal work hours.

Desirable Skills / Experience -
6. Experience with RMAN.
7. Experience with Oracle Data Guard.
8. Experience with Oracle Enterprise Management (OEM) Grid
9. Experience with at least one other Database Management System (DBMS), preferably DB2 or SQL Server.

* Fundamental understanding of electronics/​technology industry
* Experience working with Tier 1/​Tier2 electronics OEMs is strongly desired
* Experience in the Semiconductor, Machinery, Pressure Equipment, and/​or Materials Refinery is mandatory.​
* Network of industry decision-making contacts is a major plus.​
* Ability to identify, approach, effectively communicate and close sales using a strategic, value-based message directed to decision makers is an absolute requirement.​
* Successful history of revenue/​quota accomplishment is required, and success in selling complex services of any type is a plus.​
* Knowledge of technical standards (e.​g.​, ISO, IEC, UL, EN, etc) is desired, but engineering background/​degree is not required.​
* 5-10 years minimum selling experience is desired, but will consider candidates with less experience based on successful recent history.​
* Must demonstrate senior-level sales skills including proposal writing, negotiation, effective closing and program management.​
